MEET PAUL
Building A Strong, Vibrant, Inclusive Community Together
Paul has long had a great affection and passion for our community. Having spent a part of his childhood in Ward 6, attended primary school and later purchased his first home here, he's proud to have given back to our great community on City Council over the past four years.
Together with his wife Raman, and their daughters Aria and Noor, Paul remains staunchly committed to our great city. As a family they have participated in various activities to help foster a stronger, more vibrant Ward 6 community. Among their efforts has been the establishment of the well received “Cinema Under the Stars” movie event, and creating the Ward 6 In Bloom Certificate of Recognition Program.
With his strong business and technology background, Paul has shown an unparalleled
commitment to innovation to realize savings, capture efficiencies and eliminate wasteful
spending. To this end, he championed for the City of Kitchener sponsorship strategy to create
new revenue sources, bringing private sector partners to the cause of reducing the burden on
taxpayers.
When serious challenges have emerged, Paul has been there, working hard to find responsive
solutions. In this regard, he has been praised for his leadership in ensuring Big Music Fest was
well organized, sensitive to the quality of life of Ward 6 neighborhoods and ultimately a big
success.
Above all, Paul has stayed in touch with our community, keeping residents up-to-date. He has
been accessible and accountable to his constituents and has helped build effective links
between Neighbourhood Associations and citizens. Furthermore, he has facilitated numerous
town hall meetings, organized petitions to advocate neighbourhood concerns and went door-to--door to get resident perspective on important issues.
On Kitchener City Council, Paul has demonstrated the ability to get things done. With your support he will continue to deliver for our community.
Re-electing Paul, will ensure a continuation of hard work, dedication, and accountability at City Hall.
“For me, public service means being there for my neighbours and standing as their voice at City Hall. Moving forward, I will continue build on the successes that we have achieved together and support initiatives that make our community a great place to live.”
Paul
